Hi Neil, I am a fan of your website. Thanks for all the good info. My mother was from Anderson Co, and my grandparents (Duncan) had a farm within a mile of Fox Creek. I use to hang out at the store between farm chores. A few years ago a group of locals started to update the old DAR cemetery records for Anderson County KY. I the process I have been to over 150 family plots in the county and have 60 left on a list to complete, plus find more all the time. One that was out of reach was the Francis Hackley-Asa Coombs site. The directions actually match the John & Jane Hackley Cemetery on the Bruce Cattle farm (S) side of US 62. The Hackley-Boston Cemetery at the old York House is further west just off US 62 on Goshen Rd. In between was an old rock walled enclosure called the Cole Cemetery for the family that owned it for many years. More recently that farm was owned by the Bennett Roach family, and finally sold to a lawyer in Lexington who is now deceased - and his estate has the place for sale. I was able to match an unusual shaped stone with a phone in an unknown book (found some loose pages in the Hackley file at KY Historical Society lateral files) that is attributed to Mrs. Eaton in the 1940's. They identified that stone as Fanny Lightfoot Hackley - since it was evident then. Since then it has flaked off and no stone in this small plot has anything readable. I wonder if you know this source book. I have some pages compiled in a pdf I could email you direct if you would be willing to look and see.
