I am looking for names of the children of Francis White of Clark Co. KY. According to census records 1810-1850, White had 18 children, 9 males and 9 females. The only names I know for sure are the ones named in the 1850 census: Nancy, Frances, Robert, Cynthia and Eliza.
I’m looking at him as the possible father of my James S. White, born in Clark Co. in 1815 and married to Tacie Smith in Clark Co. in 1838. Tacie’s father, John M. Smith Jr., was next to Francis White in the 1840 census. That is really my only clue. The Whites, Smiths and Tacie’s Cummings grandparents all moved to Sumner Co. Tennessee sometime in the early 1840’s.
