The Winchester Academy is called St. Agatha Academy. It is located on South Main Street. It is next to the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. In the either late 1940's or 1950's they rebuilt the school.

The school was a private school and taught by Catholic nuns.

It used to teach from the 1st-thru 12th. Later it only went to the eighth grade.

I have a digital photo of what the school looks like today I could email you.
