This is rather late, and I hope that you already have answers to this question.

In any event, in my data base I have James Woosley b. 1811 as the son of Nathan Woosley and Sarah Keesee (and note that these names are repeated among his children).

Nathan's brother Thomas Burrell and wife Diane Tribble Woosley remained in Christian County.

They are believed to be two of 13 sons of Thomas Moses Woosley and Elizabeth Waters, who lived in mid-Virginia in the 1700's, and probably further descended from Thomas Moses's probable grandfather, Thomas Woosley, and his wife Mary, who were in Norfolk before 1715.
