Thanks for your posting. I am descended from Ben Franklin Wood who married Amy Ann Galbraith. I've been lucky enough to make a recent trip to Hopkinsville, so here's some new info from library books, files, courthouse records, and emails from Davis and Wood cousins.
Leonard L. Wood b ca. 1774 MD (one source says NC), m 1803 Williamson Co TN, d 1857 Christian Co KY
Sarah "Sallie" Davis, his wife.
b ca. 1786 Sampson Co NC or Pasquotank NC, d 15 Feb 1853 KY, daughter of David Davis Jr (d 1805 Franklin Co TN) and Sarah Stokeley.
Paulina D.B. b ca. 1804 TN? m 19 Jan 1843 Simeon R. Wright
Emily (Artemisa?) b ca. 1810-1820 TN? m 5 Mar 1857 William
Faulkner AKA Mrs. Fortner (court record lists "Alias" name.)
William H.P. b ca. 1806 AL, m Jane D. Bradley (1822-) 1 Jan 1839, Farmer, d 23 Aug 1853
Gilbert G. ba 1810 or 1818 TN, Merchant, single d 20 Jan 1855
Elbert H. b 1816-1919 TN, Single, d Sept 1853 Logan Co KY
Benjamin Franklin b 5 Feb 1819 TN or AL or KY, depending on sources, m Amy Ann Galbraith 21 Oct 1845 (Galbraith family bible), moved to Honey Grove TX ca. 1846 "bought each child their own farm in Texas" according to family story.
Milton H. b ca. 1820 TN
Octavia b 21 May 1821 Williamson Co. TN, m 20 Feb 1838 Robert H. Smith
Unknown male b ca. 1825-30 (source is 1840 KY census)
Paralee T. b ca. 1828 AL m 14 Jan 1851 William R. Allegree
Artemisa E. (Emily?) b ca. 1831 AL, single as of 1857, could be same as Mrs. Faulkner or Fortner, except for birth date. Need more research on this.

Also related somehow: Charles L. Wood (13 Aug 1833 d 18 Dec 1906 TX), son of Bryant Wood.
Please note that "Leonard Wood Jr." shows up in courthouse documents as grandson, which makes it unclear whether Leonard Wood (1774-1857) had a son named Leonard L., although I suspect this might be true.

I have more, chiefly on the Davis line that I can send you.
