Searching for Howard's and Barretts in Carroll County KY

I am looking for Barrett or Howard families in Carroll County Kentucky. My husband's grandfather was born in 1885, supposedly in Carroll County Kentucky. He used both Barrett and Howard as last names and Charles, Edward and Robert as first names. I know nothing about his parents. So, if you have a Charles, Edward or Robert that came out west (Oregon and Washington) by 1908 please let me know. Thanks! Ronda whizinc@comcast.net (either email is OK)
