I have just learned that Ida's father John Allred was first married to Julia by whom he had at least 7 children -
Charlie b abt 1832 TN
George b abt 1836 TN
Morgan b abt 1839 TN
Sarah b abt 1850 TN
Nancy b abt 1852 TN
Robert b abt 1854 TN
Mariga b abt 1857 TN
Charlie and Morgan married but it appears that Robert did not marry, at least that's what the 1900 Carlisle Co KY census is showing.
I also found where the family had come to KY from Overton Co TN. John supposedly was the son of Jonathan Allred and Nancy Walker.
I have no interest in John's first marriage and his children, but would like to learn if any of the descendants of these children know anything about the half-sister Ida (shown as Jid J in 1880 census) Allred who supposedly married a Davis boy.
