Hi Jim,
Martha went to the Newport Courthouse and checked the County Clerks Office marriage records and found nothing on any of the names.
In most states marriage records are kept at the County clerks office if a license is required in that state. And in Kentucky a license is required. You might check with the authorities about Indiana, well within an hours drive of either Ohio or Kentucky. Have you checked with the Hamilton County, OH Clerks Office?
With the mixed religions that you have, I doubt that the marriage was performed in the church, although I have heard of exceptions made in the Catholic church.
