I just remembered that there is a County History with the Lehenbauer Family in it of Marion,Lewis and Ralls counties. The family started one of the first Colleges at West Ely. It is no longe there. I did a The Family Lehenbauer book in 1980 and had it copy Righted because a copy goes into the National Archives and one goes into the Library of Congress. I also sent one out to Salt Lake For them to Micro-Film. This is the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints (Mormon) Library. A cousin found where the family came from in Germany by going to the old records of The Lutheran West Ely church to some of the Confermation Records. A lady in Oettingen Germany, Irmgard Roettger found where the family came from before they lived in Oettingen. Upper Austria has names that have two Syllables ending in er. There was three hundred copies of The Lehenbauer book made.
