Mr. Moore, Thank you so much for the information! I was looking at all the dates and wondering if my dad has the wrong birth date. I think my dad was put up for adoption through Catholic Social Services. He once told me of a memory that he remembers being taken from the arms of a very upset woman at about the age of two. He does not know who that person was, but he thought it might be his mother. Both my grandma and grandpa a deceased, but I know that they adopted all three of there children through Catholic Social Service or the Catholic Church. My father's birth certificate has his name as John Eric Rennekamp (his adopted parents last names) and his birth date as March 14, 1943. His adopted parents are listed as his parents (Mary Dorothy Rennekamp and James Elmer Rennekamp), but the ages are wrong. The ages on the certificate are 18. Do you know if there may be an original birth certificate out there or did they usually try to keep the names secret? This also brings another question to mind. I wonder if my dad is older than he actually is. I want you to know that I really appreciate your help!! Sincerely, Erica Charters Notify Administrator about this message?
