First, I'm sorry for the delay in replying to your query. It got lost in a pile of papers on my desk.
Our records agree with what you have on the marriage, but in addition: They were married by Robert Stubbs in Newport, KY. The bond was posted by Booze Redd. Consent was by Thomas DeWitt(relationship not indicated)
The first census records that we found a Carson, 1810 and showed Joseph Carson and no Dewitt was listed.
For the remainder of this reply I will send directly to you as they are attachments and we can't do that here. So keep an eye out for a message from n8possibilities@fuse.net. You might even have to check your junk mail file for a couple days. One attachment gives an address of another researcher of Carson, the final address is in Florida. I have also attached her Carson family tree that she sent to us. You might tie in with that family somewhere.
