Hi Walter,
We checked on your family in our records and found:

Newport marriages and bonds 1855-1875-no Linville nor Ulrey
Speers Hospital entrance records- no Linville nor Ulrey
This was too early for death or birth certificate records.
1850 Census-Campbell County- no Ulrey nor Linville
1860 Census-Campbell County- no Ulrey nor Linville
We did see some Linville family in Bracken County(1850), next county east of Campbell, but no William about 15 yrs old.
Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Campbell, KY has a William Linville and Ann Rebecca Linville in Section 10, Lot 21, but no dates. No Ulrey names.

Good luck with your further research,
Martha & Jerry
