Adoption Info

Hello all,

My question is regarding an adoption that took place in 1944. I'm looking for the birth father of the adopted child, and I'm curious if anyone knows anything about what the courts would have on record. I have a court transcript, which is actually how I found the birth father's name. However, it's a pretty common name and I'm not finding any information on him. In the papers, he's referred to as the 'guardian ad litum'. I guess I am hoping that they'd have record of his home address at the time. I have absolutely no info on this guy and there's no one still living who can tell me.

Any help would be appreciated!

Nicole
