John (Johann) Hug

John Hug arrived in the US from Baden Germany in about 1885, with two children, John and Kate. The 1900 Census for Campbell County shows him living in Grant's Lick with wife, Lizzie, b. abt 1858, and eight children. I believe Lizzie is the second wife, and is from Campbell County. By 1920, they are living separately in Ward 2, Dayton. Elizabeth is listed as divorced. Other children listed are Carl, born 1889; Elizabeth, born 1891, Anna Frances (my Grandmother) born 1891; Carrie, born 1893; Mary, born 1895, and Florence, born 1899. These children where all born in Campbell County. Lizzie's parents were both born in Germany, and apparently came to Campbell County prior to 1858. John was naturalized in Campbell County 8/4/1890. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Patty Ramirez
