Could your Daniel Black be a brother to Joseph Black who was in Campbell County, Kentucky in 1802? He was my x4 Great grandfather and my family has hit a wall with him.
It is said he came from PA to Kentucky.
I have no information about any siblings of Joseph Black and think your Daniel may be his brother.
Some of Joseph Black's children were:

Elmore Black
George Black
Joseph Black Jr.
Steve Black

Most of this family lived near Grants Lick, Campbell County, Kentucky and Visalia, Kenton County, Kentucky which is right across the Licking River from Campbell County, KY.
