I checked our records of St Stephen Roman Catholic Cemetery in Fort Thomas and found:
Barbara Mary Goetz
b 1828
d 7/0/1926
bur 7/17/1926
owner of lot-William Goetz
in charge of arrangements- Muehlenkamp Funeral Home

William Goetz, Sr
b 1863
d 10/0/1932
bur 10/24/1932
He was the widower of Theresa Goetz and the son of John Goetz.
in charge of arrangements- Muehlenkamp Funeral Home

There was no listing for a John Goetz.

In checking other catholic cemeteries in the county I found one possibility:

St Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery in Wilder, which was previously known as Corpus Christi:

Frank J Goetz
d 5/23/1875

Have you sent to Ky State Archives for a death certificate for Barbara or William. They both died after 1911 and there should be a record. It sometimes can give you leads. You might also get hold of the funeral home for their records now known as:
Muehlenkamp-Erschell Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Homes
835 York St
Newport, Ky 41071
(859)261-8093

I am a volunteer at the Campbell County Hist & Gen Soc and we are of the opinion that John died early and Barbara moved in with William. William was probably a member of St Stephen Church and purchased the lots ahead of time and that's why John is separated from the family
