Gregory, thanks for the Tipton Miller information. You have opened some doors for me on my Miller Line. Tipton's parents, John and Nancy (Williams) Miller were married in Christian Co Ky November 7, 1823 and moved to Trigg Co Ky after first child, a daughter, Ann Elizabeth, was born in 1830. The other children: Leonidas Clifford (b 1832), John D. (b 1839), Tipton A. (b Oct 15, 1841), Nancy C. (b about 1843), and Mary Emma (b April 1845) were all born in Trigg Co KY. Leonidas Clifford is my great grandfather. He served in the MS Jasper Rifles during Civil War, came to Marlin, Texas, after the war, met and married Permelia Eaves. They later moved to Tolar, Hood Co TX and remained. I am curious as to Tipton's daughter, Hontas Sturgis, being in Clarksville TX in 1907. Would you have any information on Tipton's sister Nancy C who married William Chandler? Or sister, Mary Emma who married Marmaduke Gallida Sale? Thanks again.
