Sorry, Rhonda, but I don't have any information other than the name Daniel Young. In case it helps, my information about Dolly/Dorothy is the following: b 8/20/1789 Anson Co, NC; m (Martin Lacy) 4/22/1813 Caldwell Co, KY; d 10/29/1862 Palestine, TX. I would guess that your Daniel Franklin Young received his middle name from his mother's last name. Maybe there is some census information for Franklin in Anson, NC or Caldwell Co., NC in the 1790, 1800, or 1910 censuses. Maybe there is a Franklin who appears in both places in different years.
