My wife is a descendant of David White and Matilda Jane Copeland. The children and heirs of Jacob White are listed in an 1842 deed as Benjamin, Josiah, Joshua, David, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Lucinda White.

Jacob White and family are listed in the 1830 census and the sale of his estate was on Jan. 20, 1836.

"David White, an infant orphan of Jacob White, deceased, above the age of 14 years, came into court and made choice of Joshua Copeland as his guardian."

Benjamin and Joshaua served in the Mexican War and Benjamin and David were Confederate soldiers.

Where did you find the exact birth date for David?
