I am also on a desperate search for a fowler family. Maybe this will help you and we can solve this together. My ggg-grandmother was abandoned on the trail of tears as an infant. She was taken in by a Fowler family and given the name Florence Mae Fowler. No one knew her birth date but she died on the 21st of March in 1957. I have a little more info..is this any part of your famile? she had one daughter by an unknown partner.
