Yes, they do have newspapers on microfilm. Some of them are very hard to read - blurry and dark - but are a great help in research. I believe the oldest they have are from the 1920's - maybe a little earlier. There are earlier ones, if I am not mistaken, at Pogue Library at Murray State. The historical society has copied many of the old obituaries and have them in 3-ring notebooks so you don't have to wade through the microfilm looking for them.
