My dad Johnnie R. DeBoe Sr.had many siblings in Caldwell County. He had a Sister who Died last year, Her name was Robbie Vinson who was married to Denny Vinson, She use to run a Laundromat in Princeton across the old Walmart. She had that I know of was a daughter's name of Sue and Joy. As far as I can remember was visiting their dairy farm outside of Farmersville when I was a young child in the early 60's .Also my Dad had another sister, Her name was Mae Rowland , she had a little house with her husband Lonnie Rowland I think it was either near Flat Rock or maybe Red Rock or something like that. I my self lived in Farmersville for a short time in the 60'. I lived in between, next door to Mr. Tank Jones who use to take care of the roads and grow some of the biggest tomatoes I have ever seen, and next door to Mr. and Mrs. Vanhooser , I think he use to drill wells or something like that. And as a small boy I remember going to the store at the end of the road in Farmersville I think Mr. Watson owned the store, I use to get the best thick sliced bologna sandwiches and watch the local farmers whittle cedar wood out front. Those days are not forgotten, I have the most fondest memories living there. One of my Dad's last wishes was to return to Kentucky. That was all he talked about in his final days and how we was planning to go up there in October. My family will return in his place soon to visit . It sounds as though we have maybe crossed paths or have even met at one time long ago . I could ramble all day long about Kentucky., even though I lived there for only a short time I cherish those moments forever.
