Looking for any descendants of this family. I have information on the wife of James H. Maxwell, Sarah Ann Tune Maxwell. I just this week was able to identify her parents and would like to share info. Her father was Demarcus M. Tune who married Mary Condley, both from Halifax, Virginia. I received a document from Franklin County, Tennessee regarding the estate of Demarcus and his heirs. It names Sarah Maxwell living in Butler County, Kentucky.
I have traced this Tune line(my ancestors as well) back to the immigrant ancestor in Virginia. DNA results show our Tunes from western Europe, with the British Isles a common match.
