Looking for any info on Henry T. Davis who married Adeline M. Griffee or their children. I know I descend from Henry through his son Roy, but can't find anything else about the family.
Here is all that I know in regards to Henry T. Davis:
+ According to 1900 census he was born March 1860.
+ No idea about his siblings or parents
+ Married Adeline M. Griffee on Mar 30, 1892 in Clark County, Indiana; I have that marriage certificate, but doesn't list any parents.
+ In 1900 census he was living in Meade County with wife Addie & children Myrtle, Fred, & Roy in the Court House Precinct; they spelled his last name Daviess.
+ In 1910 census he was living in Cloverport City, Breckinridge County with wife Addie & children Myrtle, Fred, Roy, Mary, Robert, & John.
+ His wife 'Addie' marries an Allen G. Jupin in Meade County on May 7, 1913. I'm assuming he died prior to this; it's remotely possible the marriage ended in divorce and he lived on for another 50 years, but my great uncle and grandmother don't ever remember him and they were born in the 1920's.
+ Death certificate I obtained for one Henry Davis died April 30, 1913 at age 50 years, 1 month, 7 days and his birthdate is listed at Mar 24, 1863. This is a possibility of being my Henry, but the year is wrong based on the census records.
+ Death certificate also lists his father Selah (born in Pennsylvania) and mother Mary Simmons (born in Kentucky) with Henry being born in Kentucky. The 1900 census lists Henry Daviess' father as being born in Pennsylvania and mother born in Kentucky, but the 1910 census says his father and mother both were born in Kentucky. Henry is listed as being born in Kentucky on both census'.
+ His occupation in both 1900 and 1910 was 'fisherman'.
