Looking for any information on William McGlothlan (b. 23 May 1823 KY, d. 13 Oct 1890 MO) and his wife, Sarah Ann Massey (b. ca 1831 TN, d. 17 May 1916 UT). I found William and his widowed mother (Margaret), a brother (Lafayett) and a sister (Julia A) in the 1850 census in Breckinridge Co, KY.
I have a date of marriage for William McGlothlan and Sarah Ann Massey as 31 July 1851 probably in Breckinridge Co, but I haven't been able to confirm this information.
William and Sarah had 7 children: James Edwin (1852 KY - 1922 CO); Robert Franklin (1854 IL - 1931 MO); Albert Winright (1856 IL - 1931 CA); Martha Jane (1859 IL - ?); Mary Frances (1862 - 1864); Jessie Lee (1866 IL - 1937 CO); and Charles W. (1871 IL - 1945 CO).
William's parents were Lafayette McGlothlan (he might have gone by Samuel) and Margaret Hogan.
I don't know who Sarah Ann Massey's parents were, or when she moved from TN to KY.
