Looking for Amos Hardin who married to Laura Davidson, Breathitt co., ky, thank you, mark
Ina Hardin Prater, 88, of Portsmouth, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2003 from a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late Amos and Laura Davidson Hardin, a homemaker and widowed wife of Ervine Prater. She was a member of the Rehobeth Bible Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mildred Wilder Allen of Wilstacy, Kentucky. Two sons: Dial Prater and Earl Prater, both of Portsmouth, Kentucky. Four sisters: Martha Hardin of Portsmouth; Sylvia Calhoun of Jackson, Kentucky, Hattie Marshall of New Haven, Kentucky; and Emmalene Howard of Knox, Indiana. Four brothers: Earl Haddix of Portsmouth; Amos Hardin Jr., of Florida; Elmer Hardin of Knox, Indiana; and Melvin Hardin of Gollymills, West Virginia. One special grandson, Michael Ervine Prater of Portsmouth, 26 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at 11 a.m., at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Estill Barnett officiating.
Burial followed in the Hardin Cemetery at Wilstacy, Kentucky, with Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
