Minnie Mae Moore Grizzle died in Boyd County on 03 Sep 1987.
For many years, family members have said her father was Booker Valentine Moore and mother was Emma Stapleton. This couple supposedly had three children in Elliott Co., KY before he left and returned to Lawrence Co., where he married someone else. Now for the dilemma: I just got Minnie's sister, Hilla Gilley's obit, and it lists parents as Aaron Moore (Booker Valentine Moore's brother) and Emma Stapleton.
What does Minnie Mae Moore Grizzle's obit say? Was the extended family wrong about which brother was the father, or was Hilla's obituary wrong?
