Looking for information on parents of George W. Trotter b. Apr. 30, 1817 believed to be Ten Mile area of Boone Co., Father believed to be Joseph. George W. moved to Lewis Co., Missouri in 1832 to Ten Mile, named after Ten Mile, Ky.
He married Nancy C. Dale Sep. 23, 1841 in Lewis Co., Missouri. It is believed that she was also born in the Boone, Ky area and came to Lewis Co., Missouri with her mother Mary (Cox) Dale in 1835. Believe Mary was married to John Preston Dale. He did not show up in Lewis County, Mo.
Any information would be helpful.
