Help! I am trying to find an obituary for Lillie Redman who died in Bell County on February 5, 1966 at the age of 65 years. I know the death certificate information for receiving the copy (volume 4, certificate 01831, volume 1966). I was just hoping her obituary would have her parents' names. I think she is the daughter of R. W. Barnett and Sudie Willeford. Lillie and Edgar Barnett married and lived in Bell County having Austin, Arthur/Joe, Mary L., Loretta, and John (as of the 1930 census). Lillie was living with the J. C. Barnett family in 1910 (includes Kitty Barnett, Verda Herst, and R. W. Barnett). Lillie was listed as a niece of J. C. Barnett. I am trying to find what happened to Sudie and have a few leads. I know that either her son or her grandson (I think it is the grandson) was Joe Redman who served in the military during WWII. He later moved to Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio and then finally to Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. I really think Lillie is the daughter of Sudie Willeford (who was supposed to have died at childbirth, according to one family's lore) and thus the granddaughter of Nathaniel L. Willeford and Mary Swafford. Sudie has a twin sister, Malinda, and a brother William T. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
