Theophilus Hendrix born 22 December 1790 and died 01 March 1877 Bath Co., KY is listed on the Kentucky death record as the son of Edmond and Julia Hendrix. Who are these people and where do they fit into the Bath county Hendrix line?
Is there a will for Theophilus out there? Is there a bible?
I need some kind of paper proof to tie my John Hendrix born 09 May 1825 and died 29 January 1885 in Bath Co., KY to Theophilus.
They are enumerated on the 1850 census where they are enumerated on the same page. There is the naming of John's child David after Theophilus and Nancy had a child David. John had a daughter named Mary Frances and Theophilus had 2 daughters one Mary and one Frances. This alone is coincidental without paper proof.
It is generally accepted that John Hendrix who married Sarah Davis is the son of Theophilus and Nancy Hendrix. However, we need to be able to prove it.
And if he IS the son of Theophilus then who is Edmond and Julia and do they tie in...this is my gigantic brick wall so any help is very much appreciated.
