Hello..My Edmund Garrison was in Barren County tax records in 1810 with a wife and child. His father Paul was there by 1804-06 so I am thinking that Edmund would have married in Barren Co. He was born 1785-90. His wife's name was Louisa Jane and I am thinking that her last name may have been Russell. Or Buckner, but more likely Russell with her father being Buckner Russell. Edmund posted surety on Buckner Russell's daughter Elizabeth's marriage 1810
Barren County, and usually a relative does that. I also found out from a CW pension petition depostion folder from a grandson of Edmund's later that somehow we are related to the Buckner Russell family.
I am told there is a book, Marriage Records of Barren Co 1799-1849. Does anyone have a copy of that book and would you be so kind to look in it to see if a marriage for Edmund Garrison is listed?
