Did some lookups for you from some Ballard and Carlisle county books I own.
The 1870 Census of Ballard Co., Milburn District, shows the household of William D. Heath 61, GA, and his wife Eliza 60, KY as consisting of: Josephine 31, Andrew J. 28, William H. 25, Sarah A. 23, James G. 22, Robert 21, and Lorenzo Dow 20.
Have you seen the Biography of the son William H. Heath? If not I have the book it was published in.
An out of print book I own, "Ballard's Brave Boys", by M.Juliette Magee states:
Andrew J. Heath was the son of William D. Heath of Georgia, and the grandson of Richard Heath of North Carolina, a soldier of the War of 1812. Served in the Confederacy but unit not known.
From Ballard Co KY Marriage Books:
Josephine Heath married W. L. Tankersley May 30, 1883 at Wickliffe.
Son Robert R. Heath and his wife Georgean and children are on the 1900 Census of Carlisle Co. KY
The following members of the Heath family are buried at the PALESTINE Cemetery in Carlisle Co. KY:

Elizabeth Husbands Heath 1807 - 1886
Roberet R. Heath 1848 - 1933 and his wife Georgia A. Heath 1853 - 1936
A J (Andrew) Heath May 3, 1840 - Nov 13, 1885; and his wife Eliza N. L. Heath died March 25, 1881, 37 years, 8 months, 7 days. Eliza was the daughter of M and L Senter.
Children of Andrew and Eliza Heath: Son M. O. Heath died Oct 18, 1873, age 4 years, 8 months, 23 days. Daughter S. E. Heath April 23, 1870 - Oct 7, 1870.
Beulah Heath June 15, ,1887 - Aug 31, 1888 (parents not identified)
Sally Heath Smith 1844 - 1888
Anna Heath Thompson, no birth date, died June 19, 1889
Hattie M. Heath Davis (daughter of Robert) Feb 21, 1879 - June 5, 1956. Hattie's husband James W. Davis Feb 7, 1866 - April 12, 1923.
