Hi Luther-
Yes, several McGaugheys served in the military from Anderson Co and Shelby Co. I know the wars included the Civil War [My John McGaughey was drafted into the Union Army (have NARA records)], the Mexican-American War and I think at least one for the Boxer Rebellion. I will check my records and send you what I have.
