Hi Ruth, I don't think I can help you with Driskells, but the wife of Dennis Driskell was Barbara Craft. In old records of Granville Co., NC.. 06 Nov 1786, Thomas Craft gives to his dau, Barbara, wife of Dennis Driskoll, a negro girl slave. Then in the will of Thomas Craft, made 07 Jan 1788 & proved in May court of 1789, he mentions his dau. Barbara Driscoll.
