This is definitely a note I don't want to type LOL. I went today to the clerk's office and looked up these two marriages.
I could not find a thing on George Redman or Mary "Polly" Wilkerson. I looked in both the Redmans and Wilkersons and the first female Wilkerson listed wasn't until 1854. I also looked under the date and did not find a marriage there nor within a few years of 1839. I am so sorry that I didn't have any luck with them.
I did find Newton and Sarah. All it said was that "Nuton Wilkerson to Sarah Cunningham" plus the date and they were married by Cary Hardwick. That is literally all it said.
I'm sorry I couldn't be of any more help, if there is anything else I can do for you please just let me know.
