Linda, I'm not connected to the Kwiatkowski family, but I grew up in Berea and your post caught my eye. I did go to school with some Kwiatkowskis, in the 70s and 80s.
There is information on several Kwiatkowskis from Berea and Cleveland in the Cuyahoga County Naturalization Index, at http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohcuyah2/nats/coarch/part3/pg0138.html . This gives birth date, arrival date, and the port where they arrived. With the information from the index, you can get the actual naturalization papers from the Cuyahoga County Archives, which should have additional information.
There is also a little bit of Kwiatkowski info at http://www.archercousins.com/family/winners/ . About halfway down the page it lists the marriage of Aloycus Kwiatkowski and Jeannette Wojtalewicz, in 1936 in Berea. It also lists Aloycus' parents, which might be helpful to you if Aloycus is one of your relatives.
Finally, there is a transcription of the 1958 obituary of Paul Kwiatkowski (aka Paul Flowers) of Berea, at http://www.flowersfhs.com/Obit10.htm .
