I am interested in a KUTZ or COTTS family of Berks or Hunterdon County, PA. Catherine Cotts was born about 1822, she married March 1844 in Huntingdon, Co., PA to Daniel C. Ake. Catherine Cotts' mother was Anna Maria ONSTOTT, I do not know her father's name, by 1833 he had died and Maria was married to Conrad Fry and had a son William in Huntingdon Co. About 1851, the Ake family, along with, William Fry, and some Onstotts went to Benton County, Iowa where they remained. On the 1880 census Catherine Kutz Ake lists her father as born in Prussia. This has been a huge 'brickwall'. Thank you, Stephanie Miller, Oregon
