I made and error in my posting. My mother is the granddaughter of Martin Wilhem Kutscher, I am the great-granddaughter. I would very much like to hear from others of Kutscher descendent. Other children of Johann and Henerietta were Richard John, Moritz, Henrietta(m. Adolf Vogel), Emma(m. John Jungklaus), Lena(m. Leo Saupe), Ida(m. Ernst Hemman), and Lydia Kutscher. To make the history even more complicated. My husband's grandfather a few years after Johanna died married his sister-in-law Anna Margaretha (Jungklaus)(Thurm)Arnsburg. So Anna was then the third time married. After Gerhart Thurm died she married Robert Fritsche who was her fourth husband. She died Sept.8,1944. I feel she must have been a wonderful woman to have taken on a newborn her own three children from her marriage to Herman Frederick Thurm and later the other nine sons of Gerhart and Johanna Thurm when she married Gerhart. I would like to know a lot more about her too, as she played such an important part in the Thurm family and that there may be a connection between her and Emma Kutscher's husband. Please help if you can.
