I am very interested to learn about the Salt Creek Battle. Can you tell me who the other fighters were? Was the battle in 1869?

2. Artemicy McElroy b. 2-14-1836 d. 2-7-1877 Parker Co. TX m. Bolen Lafayette Kutch 5-14-1855
A third sister Isabella McElroy married Wm. Sloan. According to family history, Sloan died in an Indian battle before 1870 west of Corsicana.
