My great-great grand mother was born in 1860. The exact location I do not know but apparently from somewhere around Krakow Poland. Her parents moved to a place called Horyniec which is not far from the present Polish-Ukrainian border. Her parents had bought an estate near
there with a distillery. She also had relatives near a place called Veliki Mosty which is now in Ukraine. Their names were Fidinski.

Emelia had a sister who was murdered and maybe a brother Leo who worked at the Health Ministry in Prague about 1907.

Although Emelia was polish and well educated, she married a ukrainian peasant and I suspect was disowned by her family. She emigrated to Canada as a widow and lived with her children's families not far from McCreary Manitoba. She died in 1935.

If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
