Kuruc's settled in Bethlehem PA?

Hello Kuruc's
My name is Michael Kuruc and I was born (9/23/55) in Bethlehem Pa to Joseph and Stella (Grupp )Kuruc .I currently live in Cary, North Carolina (USA).And all these years I thought I was the only family with the name Kuruc!!! After reading some of the posts there appears to be an abundance of Michael Kurucs.

Does anyone have any info about the Kurucs that settled in Bethlehem Pa probably in the early 1900's. Unfortunatley most of my relatives with any specifc knowledge have passed and I have heard conflicting family stories about our origin and the origin of our name. One story says that our original name was Szabo and it was "sold" to get $ to come to America??

Any help would be appreciated.
