I have found some information from a Church in Boyertown, PA from 1874 that talks about Rev Michael D Kurtz being hired as a pastor. I believe that this is a distant relation to our family. I have a marriage certificate from 1855 that is signed by what I believe to be him that married some distant relatives (Job and Cecilia (Snyder) Sapp)of ours. This couple also had someone living with them that was a "sister'in'law" to the head of household (Job Sapp) and her name was Louise Kurtz. Any ideas? I am just starting this hunt and not sure exactly how to go about it. Thanks for any help that someone might have to lend me! :)
