I have found the John Kunz listed in my initial query in the 1920 and 1930 census living in the Kansas City area with his wife Mabel and two sons, Harold and John, Jr. John Kunz died in Sacramento CA in 1969 and his son Harold died in St. Louis MO in 1987.
I have also found two of the daughters, Alma married Albert Eberhart and lived most of the rest of her life in and around Hobart, Kiowa County, Oklahoma. Her sister, Emma, married Albert's brother, Walter Eberhart. I don't find them after the 1910 census.
