David Kuntz founded the brewery. His granddaughter, Caroline Kuntz, married my grand uncle, William Jospeh Fischer. Dr. Fischer died in 1920 at age 41. His wife Caroline adopted a daughter 8 years after her husband's death. Rita (Fischer) Stagg lives in Stratford, Ontario, and has a ghreat deal of Kuntz memorabilia, as well as detailed history of the Kuntz family. I have most of the Kuntz genealogy, and can send it on request.
