Trying to find the parents of John Andrew Kunkel, b. 1806, prob. York Co., PA. In 1831 he m. Mary Ann, AKA Anna Maria, Spahr in York Co. They had 9 children: Elizabeth, Samuel, Sarah, Catharine, Rebecca, John Jr., Isaac, William & Emanuel. They lived in Silver Springs Twp., Cumberland Co., PA & Rye Twp., Perry Co., PA. Mary d. 1873 & John d. 1877. Allied surnames include: McAfee, Smith, Houdeshell, Kahler, Messinger & Thurston. Willing to share information.
