Isn't your great grandfather the 8th child of Frederick (& Julia Ann Ears) Kump?

Richard Parkison “Park” Kump was born Dec. 12, 1845. The 1880 Census shows he had a child William N. Y. Kump in Hampshire Co., WV

If you are right that my step dad's ancestor (Jacob Kump) was the son of Henry Kump -- who had two children under 10 in 1800 --then is it very possible that Frederick was the other child because they were both born in the 1790s.

What do you think?
