Is there a connection between Casper Kuhn and Balthasar Kuhn?
Balthasar Kuhn arrived in America on the Charles Town Galley in 1749 in Georgia.
He and Frederick Schaeffer ran away to the Congarees. After that, there are no other records about
Balthasar Kuhns in South Carolina. Did he live with relations?
We are trying to connect out Balser Counts/Kunz/Counce of Frederick Co., Virginia with a family.
He bought land at Pugh's Run, Frederick Co., VA, and migrated to Rockingham Co., VA and Greenbrier Co., VA. We have no record of him prior to 1766.
Has any descendant of Casper Kuhn done YDNA testing? We would like to compare dna of Balser's descendants with Casper's descendants. We are at FamilyTreeDNA, Coon's Group # 11.
Thank you, Cheryl Bloomfield
