I'm not replying to Joseph Henry Kuhns especially but to the family of John Kuntz and Elizabeth Marchand of Westmoreland Co and Greensburg, PA. I believe that our gg grandfather is John the son of John Kuntz and Elizabeth Marchand. John spelled his name Koons and settled in Wayne Co. Ohio. The village was North Lawrence but it is near Wooster, Ohio.
Several of my genealogy cousins have traced our family back to John and Rebecca Koons who came to Wayne Co in abt 1831/32. First child was born in 1832 in Ohio but the two oldest children were born in PA. We have genealogy going back to 1541 but need this connection. This John appeared to have no middle initial.
