Hi Kay, Did any of your Kuchels come from Germany (Peter and Johanna Mueller Kuchel) and live in WI then Chicago. Finally moving to the Starke/Marshall/ ST. Joseph counties in Indiana? My mother married Johnny Kuchel in the mid 40s. They had my 1/2 sisters, Kathryn and Jacqulyn in the early 50s in St Joseph Co. IN. I believe there were 9 boys born to Grpa and Grma Kuchel, would have to talk to Mom. I rember uncles Albert, Rudy, Joey(Joseph),Richie,and Uncle Jake and wife Hazel. I think Peter lived on Florida,never met him and I think there was a Henry I never met also. Almost all these brothers fought in WW11. Richie was too young, he was only 2-3 years older than me. I know they were in WI because Johnny , my step-Dad was born there, always said he was a "Badger". They lived in Chicago a long time. We used to visit them when my sister and I were young girls. I don't know if these are your people or not, but there were very few Kuchels around- could be... Let me know if you recognize any of them. Eleanor Patrick
