My ggrandparents were Vaclav Kucera and Anna, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 1881, they had settled in Solon, Iowa for a short time when they first arrived in Sept. 1881.
Have not been able to verify the maiden name of my ggrandmother.
They were from the Pilsen area as that was where all their family pictures were taken.
They were married in Bohemia about 1878.
Vaclav's birthdate was October 15, 1850 and Anna was born October 26, 1853.

They had children Joseph and Anna when they came from Bohemia in September 21, 1881.
The father of Vaclav was possibly Thomas Kucera.
Anna may have had the maiden name Veinfurt.
I think they would have been married in the Catholic Church.
Vaclav was also known as Wencil in the census reports in the U.S.
